A look inside our farming

Every year, our farming efforts include planting, harvesting, weeding, pruning, watering, designing, barn and greenhouse construction, maintenance, propagating, drying, de-budding, watering, and more-- but our efforts NEVER include spraying, and never will.

But because we are value-added producers, we personally absorb the 700 labor hours of farming each year as well as all costs of farming, including farming and distilling equipment, supplies, plants, and all that we need to run our farm successfully.

So, when someone purchases one of our lotions, they're paying for the costs to make the lotion while we absorb the costs to create the hydrosol and essential oils that add value to the lotion. This extraordinary effort to offer a local botanical product is unique, and the USDA has evaluated our operation and confirmed we are the real deal... not just putting our label on others' work which is a common practice in farm stores.

We look forward to investing those 700 labor hours and finances over the next nine months because Seek Lavender is our gift of love and thanksgiving.

Lavender Love,

-Neil & Mary
